so here it is, the real deal: dana + georges. dana and georges got married at the whitney in detroit on the 10th of october, 2009. the whitney is a gorgeous old house, and it was a classy venue – a great space to try out some vanity fair-style portraits (thanks dana for the idea… they turned out great!), get some beautiful shots with the massive stained-glass window, and really tasteful reception shots. hope you guys like it – it was a blast!

i understand that has been a long time since my last update – for that i apologize. my first semester in architecture has been quite difficult, and waiting in various places on my hard drive are some pictures i’d love to put up here. here’s a quick preview from the most recent wedding, held at The Whitney in Detroit, a beautiful old home that’s been turned into a restaurant and event venue. more to come, hopefully soon!

Today is my last day in Singapore – at 2.30am, I will board a flight that will take me back to Detroit via Moscow and Houston. Before leaving, I wanted to go out to look at my adopted hometown through a camera lens – to play tourist, to see things that I may not have paid much attention to before. Part 1 of this series comes from Arab St., the old Muslim quarter during Colonial times.
