babies

Greetings, friends!

I’m still in Singapore, and last week I was able to take some pictures of my youth pastor’s 1-month old daughter, Abigail. She’s a beautiful little girl, and it’s kinda fun to look at her features and trace them to her dad, who’s from Arkansas, and her mom, MySan, who’s Vietnamese-Chinese. (but grew up in Canada!)

Workflow Revamp

Rejoice, for Spring is here!

In my last post I promised some fresh ideas… I’ve been re-thinking my workflow so my pictures are just that little bit better. They’re small changes, but important ones!

So, making her debut on the blog is my girlfriend (and model), Kaitlyn. It’s hard to do comparison shots on the blog because the images are so compressed, but here’s my favorite from a recent practice shoot.

John’s Portrait

Hey all,

My friend John Beresford is a music student here at the University of Michigan, and plays organ and piano at church. (He’s also an avid photographer.) So, when he asked me to take a portrait of him, we grabbed his umbrella, found an organ, and ended up taking one of my best portraits to date.
