photo contest (!)

Greetings, friends!

I’ve been dying to put this picture up for a while, but haven’t been able to – I entered an architecture-themed photo contest sponsored by the University of Michigan Libraries, and came in second! I’m not sure that I’ve ever really placed in a photo contest before, which makes this all the more exciting, as well as the fact that this photo is going to be hung up in the Duderstadt Center on North Campus somewhere. For my friends who follow my photographic exploits, thank you so much for your support – I truly appreciate it, and am working on some really fresh ideas, so watch out!

John’s Portrait

Hey all,

My friend John Beresford is a music student here at the University of Michigan, and plays organ and piano at church. (He’s also an avid photographer.) So, when he asked me to take a portrait of him, we grabbed his umbrella, found an organ, and ended up taking one of my best portraits to date.

Winter in Ann Arbor

Hey all,

Hope the new year has been treating you well! It’s been a little too cold here in Ann Arbor to be running around taking pictures, but I’ve managed to get a few. Enjoy!

Dodge That! Skate Night

I have a complete inability to ice-skate. Nevertheless, I made it out to Yost Ice Arena with Billy for the Dodge That for Habitat Skate Night and got some awesome photos while I slipped around on the ice in my shoes. 3rd Kleiners, I hope you like your photos!
