natalie + patrick

Natalie and Patrick got married in beautiful Portland, Oregon, on a sunny October day. Natalie’s family had flown in from Singapore, and some of Patrick’s friends flew in from Japan. Even I had to take a 4-hour flight from Detroit, but it was worth it to attend+photograph my friend’s wedding!

Yes, it is indeed 4:48am! I have been up all night working on Natalie and Patrick’s DVD, and occasionally working on a research paper. BUT, who cares about papers when awesome design is afoot?

Lisa+Blaine!

Finally, the long-awaited photos from Lisa and Blaine’s wedding! As you may know, Blaine Siesser is my mentor and a great friend, so when he asked me to photograph his wedding at the Cranbrook Art Museum in June I nearly jumped through the roof. This is going to be a long post, because there are some great pictures!

The day started with me stopping by Blaine’s house, to find him sleeping in the basement and a groomsman sleeping in the garage…

Lisa is an artist, and she made a little present for Blaine with scripture written all over it.
