I’ve had the privilege to work extensively with both Nikon and Canon systems, and while each has its own advantages and disadvantages, I choose to shoot with Nikon. Their camera bodies just feel better in my hands, and I believe their lenses are better, although this is debatable. (They certainly aren’t worse than Canon lenses…) The Creative Lighting System lets me set up remote flashes that I can control from the camera, and sometimes seeing this in action gets some ‘oohs’ from my subjects. I insist on using only professional quality equipment on the job, and recently I’ve been caught using Nikon D700 and D300 bodies.
